As my interest in the subject becomes more profound, I tend to do more research in this direction. The more I find — the more I dislike my Soviet past ( I would not go as far as to say I despise it, this is too emotional of a word for a simple internet project). I consider the USSR to be a badly planned, poorly executed ruthless project, which was guilty as charged of crimes against the Soviet humanity.
It was dying in convulsions long before it ended, and I am happy it stopped right there.

Thank you for showing interest to the article. There are various views on the reasons for Soviet aggression against Poland in 1939. Without question, implicitly or deliberately, the invasion of Poland demonstrated the military might of the Soviets at that time.

You are right, this conspiracy theory was first developed and discussed in the book Icebreaker written by Viktor Suvorov.

After the book was written it emerged the heated hot discussion not only amongst the dilettantes but also among historians. Most of them disproved the figures shown in the book (as for the speed of the tank that was not 100, but 75 km/h). Nevertheless, all the refutations were about insignificant details rather than about the entire course of the book.

As far as this version was never completely disproved or, contrary been proved, we decided to show it to our audience as it certainly has the right to exist.
