You said the "The propaganda had its sprout tentacles reached out to even to the teen Russians." Is this a critic? Cuz as far i can see, the north-americans did the same shit with the values of country, christianism, hate the fags and etc..In the boyscouts, in the teen magazines, TV shows , radio propagandas with Ronald Reagan and cartoons. American media propaganda tried and succeded to transform every "hazardous" aspect of the comunism,(universal healthcare for ex.) into a synonym of evil, from such a form that later all you had to do to make people afraid of something was to connect it to communism, the red menace. What i want to say is: Ideology is everywhere, every goverment can and it will spread its ideology throughout the media and education, for all the ages and always. Anyone think that Soviet Union brainwashed it's citizens? So did all the countries in the west, Soviet Union didn't want people to know the reality of the US? So US didn't want people to know the reality of Soviet Union either. "Ideological, ideology,ideological, ideology" I never read so many times theses words like in this article. Even though the healthcare system in the USSR was universal, the quality of the services provided was poor, way behing its Western analogues. Plus there were huge deficits of medical supplies like syringes or desposable needles. The articles I suggest you read have plenty of statistical data on the subject — so this discussion is not confined to our personal memories.
